This is the best Brazil-Funk compilation that I know.

If I would have to choose 3 albums from my collection to take with me to an deserted island, this album will be in my bag.

Let me conclude by saying that I'm deeply impressed by your vast knowledge of superb funky jazzy music! Keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Jurriaan

a great comp, actually Gilles Peterson was as aslways a trendsetter in that field too, and launched the 60/70s brazilian revival at least outside of Brazil.

As far as I can remenber, even Brazilians disregarded their own music as far as early 90s, and mostly listened to US music...

it only needs a good DJ sometimes to change history!..
