Actually it is, in my opinion, the acoustic guitar that makes this record really great.
This ought be one of the best records for anyone interested in how to play rhythm guitar in the bossa nova idiom. Jobim's acoustic guitar comp is just wonderful! E.g in 'The Dreamer' or 'Maria Moita'.
